Privacy

In short

The website sets no cookies for analytics or marketing, and we use no tracking tools. The only data we store about you is what you write in the contact form yourself.

Data controller

Inka AS, Røtingavegen 244, 5216 Lepsøy, Norway. Company no. 984 753 608.
Email: post@inkafisk.no, phone: +47 56 30 31 30.

The contact form

When you send us a message, we store your name, email address and message, plus company and phone if you provide them. We only use this to reply to you and follow up your enquiry.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). If the enquiry concerns a purchase or an agreement, the basis is Article 6(1)(b).
  • Retention: enquiries are deleted automatically after one year, or sooner if you ask us to.
  • Spam protection: together with the message we store a cryptographic checksum of your IP address, not the address itself. It is only used to stop repeated submissions from the same place, and is deleted with the message. The form uses no captcha and sends nothing to third parties.
  • Access: only Inka employees with access to the website administration.

Cookies and browser storage

Both are strictly necessary for features you choose to use, and therefore do not require consent.

Third parties

Fonts and scripts are served from our own server. The exception is the map on the contact page: map images are loaded from CARTO (based on OpenStreetMap), so your browser sends its IP address there to fetch them.

Server logs

Like any website, the server logs IP address, time and which page was requested. The logs are used for operations and security, and are deleted after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of the data we hold about you, and object to the processing. Email post@inkafisk.no. If you believe we process your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
